Giving Design Teams with Pacifica Hospital

APRIL 2019, CULVER CITY, CA

One of the last community hospitals serving low-income and under-insured patients in the San Fernando Valley is working with Giving Design to create a newly renovated outpatient physical therapy unit.

Giving Design founder Christine Hardin, together with Bryan Schwarz of Schwarz Construction, are working with Precious Mayes, the CEO of Pacifica Hospital of the Valley in Sun Valley, California, to improve the struggling hospital, thereby improving the health of the large and diverse community it serves.

Renderings were creating by talented Giving Design team members for the visioning phase, followed by interior beautifications that include new luxury vinyl flooring by Gerflor, privacy curtains by Maharam, paint and lighting.

Giving Design, a nonprofit based in Culver City, California, is dedicated to creating healing environments by making preliminary design services and products available to spaces that provide a community benefit, or improved health and medical services.
